Four festive PdSK award ceremonies

have taken place in the past weeks. All over the republic, musicians and music lovers alike rejoiced. Here we show the most beautiful pictures of this.

29.10.2021 – The most recent PdSK award party was celebrated on Saturday, 23. October in Schwerin, where the pianist Florian Uhlig is currently working as the artist in residence. He was awarded an annual award in 2021 for his spectacular Schumann Complete Edition – 15 CD albums in total, edited by the Edition Hänssler label. The laudation was given by Albrecht Thiemann.

On 25th of September 2021, master trombonist and honorary award winner Nils Wogram made a guest appearance with his new quartet Muse at the Campus Jazz Festival in Leipzig. The audience was thrilled to be able to be there live at the concert in the Villa Ida. And PdSK juror Bert Noglik gave a fiery laudation before presenting the certificate to Wogram. For the first time in two years, Chris Eckman was back on tour. On October 14th, he performed in Berlins Quasimodo. In the audience: PdSK juror Christine Heise. This year she was a member of the annual committee of the PdSK eV and came to present Chris Eckman with an annual award in 2021 for his excellent solo album »Where The Spirit Rests« (Glitterhouse). Such joy: Chris Eckman and laudator Christine Heise.
