Brahms: Symphony No. 3 in F major op.90

Musikfestspiele Dresden, the lecture hall of the library of the Kulturpalast

27.05.2018 – On May 27, the PdSK’s »Quartet of Critics« made a guest appearance at the Musikfestspiele Dresden for the fifth time in a row: a small anniversary, as Artistic Director Jan Vogler said during the greeting. In front of a large and attentive audience in the lecture hall of the Kulturpalast library, the PdSK jurors – from left to right – Christian Wildhagen (NZZ), Wolfgang Schreiber (SZ), Eleonore Büning (FAS), and Albrecht Thiemann (Opernwelt) discussed the Symphony No. 3 B flat major by Johannes Brahms. The work was then performed by Philippe Herreweghe and the Orchester des Champs-Elysée in the great hall.
